About a divorce mediation Went into mediation with lawyers and did not understand what went on did not sign anything can you change any of the so called agreement! |

When you hire a lawyer to enter into any mediation in respect of your divorce, with your spouse or his lawyer then you are bound by the agreement entered into by your and your spouses lawyer. It is immaterial whether to sign any document or not and if there is express authority to your lawyer to enter into any agreement on your behalf then you have to abide by the terms of the agreement. However, if there is any thing against the law or against the spirit of the law in the agreement then you is not obliged to honor that agreement and can simply ignore the same as the agreement against the law is no value in the eyes of law. You should consult any lawyer and show him the agreement who would help you out finding the ways how to get rid of the agreement.
