Child custody in Texas

I got divorced 2 years ago and we share custody of the child, but while we were married we both had an affair, I live in texas and this is where the divorce took place.Does this affair give him grounds for requesting full custody of her after these 2 years? does the child have anything to say in this? she's 13 years old. Or is this all in the past since it happen while we were married?

Shouldn't have an impact since you are already divorced. The courts will seek to provide for the best welfare of the child, which means they'll want to do everything to ensure both parents are involved with the child. Also, in some states 13 is the age that children can request to be more with one parent but the courts still try to encourage time with both parents.

Texas allows 12 yr old to choose there preference but it can be contested. Texas is a no fault state regarding adultery and has no preference on the decision.
