Divorce attorney fees.

Supposedly, attorney fees, in relation to alimony are deductable. However, these fees are hard to prove. Most attorney invoices are not written with specific enough detail. The attorney invoice must specify 'alimony' dispute for the invoice to be deductable. I was recently audited for this very issue.

No to divorce- Attorney fees are deductible if it produces your taxable income such as back due wages or alimony if you have to go after the spouse for not paying.

What's the average cost in orange county ca for a family law attorney that specializes in divorce?
