Had court date but peitioner postponed/cancelled date. how long till case gets thrown out or dismissed. and are you considered married again? Had court date for divorce court but petitioner postponed/cancelled and hasnt done anything about it. been 6 months now. how long till case gets dismissed? thanks... |

You remain married until the court says your are not and the courts only speak through its orders.
You might move for a dismissal yourself, although I am not certain what it is you would accomplish, if the "petitioner" wants a divorce.
As to when the action actually gets dismissed by the court, that would be state-specific, and, in any event, most courts grant a great deal of leeway in divorce cases. I mean, it's not not likely that time will cause a change of heart, so to speak.
