How can i divorce?

We have been married for more than 5 years. He didn't want me to work. So I quit my job couple monthes ago, now, because his daughter (who is 20) from his first marriage keep asking him money and he sends her thousands of dollars for buying new car and also rentals.... now when I ask him money, he keeps telling me that he has no money, and he wants a divorce. He has one home based business, and I have a daughter (who is 12) from my first marriage So what should I do? If he insist to have a divorce lawyer, what can I get. My daughter loves him though......

This is the second marriage for both of you. Some people have been married three or four times before they finally get lucky.

In a good marriage, you take whatever you can get. You don't demand anything.

If someone becomes oppressive and makes you quit your job, that person is not worth your time. However, your daughter likes him. He loves his own daughter. He is emotional enough to talk about divorce.

Here is my suggestion: you need more space and time apart. You could try to have more separate activities. As long as neither of you has an affair, or falls in love with another person, your marriage can survive and work just fine. Give it a try. Don't be afraid to give freedom to him. Let him go on little trips, or do activities that separate you from each other for a while.

IF you really wants to take a divorce form him, then a lawyer could better answer your question because its something that is different in different countries. In some places, wife gets half of the husbands property and a sum of money for lifetime, but I don't know which place you belong to. If you can tel that, it would be much easier for everyone to come up with a feasible solution.
however you can find a good info at this page here: http://www.womansdivorce.com/divorce-consideration s.html
