I am preparing to go to divorce mediation and if things can be settled at mediation can my child support start after mediation Or does the Judge have to sign off on the order first. I am trying to get child support in place prior to the IRS placing a levy against my soon to be ex-husband wages for back taxes and as I understand it if the child support is in place the tax lien will be the second in line for payment and will not effect the child support. |
