I'm in Arizona, and my spouse is in Indiana... Divorce help?

My husband and I were married in July of 2008 and moved to Arizona. Since then, we seperated in January of 2009, and he ran back to Indiana in November of 2009. 6 months later he claims he filed the divorce in Indiana. I don't know if I believe him if he has really filed it because he is oddly unreliable. How can I make sure, and what should I be expecting in the near future? He says I should be getting something in the mail, but I have yet to recieve anything.

Ive read in some places, I have to wait 60 days to get a court hearing, I've heard after 60 days I have to make him file something else, and I've heard within 60 days the divorce will be finalized.. which one is it, and when will I be recieving the papers to sign? help!

Call the county courthouse where he is living and ask if anything has been filed in your name. If there hasn't been, file yourself and get things taken care of so you know they are done. Good luck and best wishes.
