Im a marine stationed in yuma az i married my wife in 2009, we r both originally from mo, dec 2010 my wife came back to mo pregnant and gave birth in jan 2011. i have been to mo as often as possible but it just isnt going to work out, she is now pregnant with my 2nd child and has filed restraining orders and receives child support, i am not at liberty to come and go to mo for court dates, how should this be handled. in which state should divorce papers b filed?

You need to go talk to your JAG office. You will be pleasantly surprised in the help they can offer not to mention since you are in the military unless either one is contesting the divorce it will move at lightning speed. My ex husband and I were divorced in less than three months (AF).

If she has already filed you may have no other option but to have the proceedings in MO however like I said JAG may have a lawyer to represent you or file in your behalf etc. Good luck with everything.
