Is it illegal to bring men around my children during a divorce? I left my husband Nov. 10 and I filed for divorce on Dec. 3. It should be final March 3. I have 2 boys - almost 18 & 12. Both have birthdays in February. I have had a man helping me fix things in my home and he has been around my children. He has also given me used items out of his deceased father's home. My husband has sole custody of my youngest and I get him every other weekend. My friend lives in Texas but visits his mother on the weekend. He has done nothing inappropriate towards me or my children. Am I doing anything illegal where DHS needs to get involved? Or is my husband just trying to scare me? He is very controlling and does not want the divorce. We do not have attorneys and are doing our divorce thru the court system. We can't afford attorneys. Can you help me? |

It depends on your state if it is illegal. Because look at what is going on now on tv. If your husband wanted to. Even going throught the divorce, it is still considered cheating. First of all Please do not bring your new guy around the kids. Because he could turn you into children services for mentally abuse to them. You do not need those people knocking at your door.
