The biggest thing is that Pennsylvania is an "equitable distribution" state, which means that they try to have you split assets in a fair way, which does not necessarily mean that it will be split 50/50. Instead, they will have you receive what is most appropriate for the situation. If there is a lower earner, for instance, that person would likely receive a greater percentage of the marital estate. Pennsylvania also rewards spousal support and alimony based on standard of living and length of marriage. Child support is based on income share and other factors. Pennsylvania divorce law attempts to make things fair, which opens it to a lot of subjectivity based on lists of factors to be considered. Get yourself a good lawyer, and best of luck.
